What is thread count?
Thread count is the number of threads woven per square inch of fabric.
A higher thread count can imply a higher quality or softness of the manchester, but this is not always the case.
A thread count between 200 - 800 is a useful range to consider when buying your next sheet set.
You should consider fabrics, thread count and different weave types such as sateen and percale.
What is bamboo?
Bamboo is a natural fibre which i considered sustainable, soft on the skin and allergy friendly.
Bamboo fabric is very soft and considered an organic fabric.
It is known for it’s ability to pull moisture away from the skin as well as being highly absorbent.
What size sheets do I need for my mattress?
Bed Type: Measurements (W x L x D)

Single: 91cm x 190cm x 40cm
King Single: 107cm x 203cm x 40cm
Double: 137cm x 190cm x 40cm

What does deep wall mean?
Some modern mattresses may have a deeper wall or height, than a typical mattresses. This means that standard sheets will not fit properly around the mattress.
To compensate for mattresses with a taller height, deep wall sheets are designed to suit these with a range between 38-50 cm more height.

Why is the sky blue?
As light moves through the atmosphere, blue light is absorbed through by gas molecules and radiated in different directions and scattered all around the sky.
When we look towards the sun at sunset, we see red and orange colours because the blue light has been scattered away.
What is Egyptian cotton?
Egyptian cotton refer to cotton grown in Egypt and is considered a very high quality textile which uses longer and smoother fibres than its alternatives. Egyptian cotton is often more expensive than their counterparts as they tend to last longer and retain their quality for an extensive period of time.
It is important to note that many companies claim that their sheet sets are Egyptian cotton when they may be only include a fraction of Egyptian Cotton.

What is the most popular fabric?
100% cotton is common for bed sheets. It is a natural fibre, breathes well all year around, is easy to wash and iron and is great for people with allergies.
Many sheet sets come in a Polyester / Cotton blend which is a more affordable and low maintenance option as it dries quickly and doesn’t crease.
What is GSM when referring to towels?
GSM or grams per square metre is a measure used to determine the quality of a towel.
Towels with a higher GSM are usually more absorbent and last longer. A high quality towel will have a GSM between 400 and 600.

What is the difference between a mattress topper and an underlay?
Mattress toppers and underlays are designed to provide a layer of padding on the top of your mattress as well as a layer of protection.
They are the same thing!
Mattress toppers and underlays can help relieve pressure on your joints as you sleep and come in a range of different materials and styles.

What is the Manchester Madness returns policy?
We understand that things happen and if you’re not 100% happy with your purchase, we will accept your return within 30 days of your receiving it.
We do have a simple checklist and a few steps for you to follow should you need to coordinate a return, so check out the information on our returns policy on our shipping and returns page.
What if my goods arrive damaged or opened?
If your goods arrive damaged or opened and you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we will accept a return / refund.
Contact us with details of damage or fault and be sure to quote your invoice number so that we can arrange a replacement.

Can I purchase from Manchester Madness using layby?
If you are in store we do offer layby as per standard layby contracts. You can call us to find out more on 1300 668 928.
If you are purchasing online, we offer the zipPay service which allows you pay for your items over time. It is quick and simple to set-up, so you can get spending in only moments.
What payment forms does Manchester Madness accept?
We accept visa, mastercard, american express, paypal payments and zipPay.
What is ZipPay and how does it work?
zipPay is an online payment system that allows you to pay for your items over time. It is an easy to use, quick process that gives you instant access to an online credit system that helps ease your payment process.
You can pay over time for all your purchases from as little as $30 a month.
How long is my warranty?
Warranties vary from product to product.

Will my item be in stock?
We do our best to make sure all items that are in / out of stock are correctly reflected on their individual product page.
If an item is out of stock, get in touch with us as we have new stock coming in all the time and can put it on hold for you.
What if I want an item that is not in stock?
If an order is out of stock, you have the option of holding the order until the items are back in stock (if the items are due back in stock within 14 days), or receiving separate orders if you have multiple items.
We will contact you and let you know the expected date of arrival for all new stock and proceed with your order as directed.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Because we like your items to get to you as quickly as possible, we usually dispatch your order within 24 hours of receiving it.
If you wish to change or cancel your order and it has already been dispatched, you can follow the process for an exchange or refund as found on our shipping and returns page.
How does your price match work?
We strive to offer you the best prices available on all our stocked items. We are constantly monitoring the prices of our competitors to ensure that you can confidently shop the lowest prices on any item we carry.
If you find a cheaper price on an identical in-stock item from another retailer, please get in touch with us and we will happily match it.

What are delivery costs?
We offer extremely competitive shipping rates.
We offer a standard $8.95 flat rate shipping on all orders.
If your order is over $100, we offer shipping for free.
How long after placing an order will my item be dispatched?
We know that feeling of simply not being able to wait to receive an order so we get it out the door and on the way to you ASAP.
All orders are processed and dispatched within 24 hours of being received.
Will I get a tracking number for my order?
We offer postage tracking on all our times.

What shipping options are available for my order?
We offer regular Australia Registered Post shipping for a fixed $9.95 flat rate.
Alternatively, you can elect a store pick-up which is free of charge. All orders are processed and dispatched within 24 hours of being received. If your order is over $100, we offer shipping for free.
Does Manchester Madness ship internationally?
We currently only ship our products to Australian destinations.
However, if you wish to purchase in bulk and have delivery to an international destination, please e-mail us with your requirements and we will be able to provide a quote on international shipping costs.
Will someone need to be home to accept the delivery?
We do not require someone to be home to accept the delivery of the item.
If you have specific delivery instructions, please include these during the checkout process.
